KPCA 2018 Spring Conference

Target Audience
The Oral Health Track is available on the Monday morning of the conference and is targeted to health center dental staff and C suite. The Quality Improvement Track is available for both days of the conference and is targeted to both clinical and quality staff as well as C-Suite and Office Managers. The Preparing for Waiver Implementation and the Patient Engagement and Enabling Services Tracks focus audience is targeted to: Assistors, CHWs, Navigators, Nurse Care Managers as well as C-Suite and Office Managers.
Accreditation
Physician, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner: Application has been made to the Southern Kentucky Area Health Education Center. This program has been submitted for category 1 credit. The Southern Kentucky AHEC is accredited by the Kentucky Medical Association (KMA) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. The Southern Kentucky AHEC designates this live activity for a maximum of 13.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the (Credit Pending)
Nursing: Application has been made to the Southern Kentucky Area Health Education Center. (Credit Pending)
Respiratory: Application has been made to the Southern Kentucky Area Health Education Center. (Credit Pending)
Dental Credit: Will be awarded for the dental session only by Safety Net Solutions.
Attendance Requirement
Participants must stay for the entire session, complete a continuing education form and complete an evaluation to be awarded continuing education credit hours. Credit should only be claimed for hours attended.
Planning Committee and Faculty Disclosures
All planners, speakers, authors, reviewers, and staff members involved with content development for continuing education activities sponsored by the Kentucky Primary Care Association are expected to disclose any real or perceived conflict of interest related to the content of the activity. Detailed disclosures will be included in participant materials or given prior to the start of the activity. All individuals involved disclosed that they have nothing to disclose. The Planning Committee may substitute comparable presentations and speakers in the event of an unforeseen emergency.

Registration Cancellation Policy
Notice of cancellation must be received 10 business days before registration closes.- In the event 10 business day notice can't be provided, KPCA will accept another attendee to replace the person that cannot attend.
- If cancellation is received during this timeframe, a refund will be given to the registrant minus a $25.00 administrative fee.
- If cancellation notice is received after said timeframe, then there will be no refund given.

We would be pleased to assist you with any special needs (i.e. physical, dietary etc.), please let us know in advance by contacting Lindey Young. Keep in mind that the Embassy Suites tries to maintain meeting room temperatures at an appropriate level. However, because everyone reacts differently to various temperatures, we strongly suggest that you wear layered clothing in order to remain comfortable.
